Lisa A. LaBauGeneral Manager
Lisa LaBau is responsible for overseeing the overall business operations for API Healthcare. Prior to joining API Healthcare, Lisa was with Dynamic Healthcare Technologies for 10 years until acquired by Cerner Corporation in December 2001. She remained at Cerner and was responsible for several product lines that were consistently ranked #1 by KLAS. Lisa earned a Bachelor’s degree in science in Medical Technology at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. As a medical technologist, she is part of American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
Karlene Kerfoot, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAANChief Clinical Integration Officer
Dr. Karlene Kerfoot is currently Chief Clinical Integration Officer at API Healthcare. She has held a variety of positions in nursing and patient care administration, clinical practice, healthcare consulting & adjunct academic positions in nursing, MHA & MBA programs. Kerfoot has been the Corporate Chief Nursing and Patient Care Officer at three of the largest healthcare systems in the country. She earned a doctorate in nursing from the University of Illinois & a Masters and BSN from the University of Iowa. She has published over 300 articles & speaks nationally & internationally.
Pamela BonnettChief Sales Officer
Pam Bonnett has held numerous sales leadership positions since joining GE Healthcare in 1991. Her most recent role was in GE Healthcare Systems where she was a Ultrasound Commercial Leader. She has a diverse background in software solutions and has led many teams to align and leverage cross functional resources to help meet client needs. Pam has a BS in marketing from DePaul University in Chicago. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
Jim KlinkSenior Director of Strategic Accounts
Jim Klink has been with API Healthcare since 1985 and has played a vital role in the success of the company through various leadership positions. As Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, Jim is responsible for building relationships with key accounts to ensure they are maximizing the value of their API Healthcare solutions. He is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
Kyle AllainSenior Director, Operations
Kyle has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare technology industry. He has built broad skills through various roles at Cerner, GE Healthcare, and Baxter Healthcare. Kyle has experience in areas such as business development, market strategy, client account management, product development and client support. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University, a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Masters of Engineering Management degree from Northwestern University.
Mike WejrowskiSenior Director and General Manager, Agency Solutions
Mike began his career with API Healthcare in 2003, promoting innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that optimize business processes and improve efficiencies for the healthcare staffing industry. As General Manager of the staffing agency business for API Healthcare, Mike is responsible for aligning agency business objectives within the greater context of the healthcare staffing continuum. He is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
Brian P. ShannonGM and Senior Director, San Diego
Brian brings over 18 years of software design, development and technical leadership to his role at API Healthcare. After expanding on his software engineering and architect skills at Hewlett-Packard, Qualcomm, and SAIC, he moved on to hold leadership roles within Concerro and HERAE. Brian joined API Healthcare in 2010 and leads the development teams. Brian earned his computer engineering degree from the University of California San Diego.
Jeffrey PetersonSenior Director, Engineering
Jeffrey has 20+ years experience developing commercial software solutions for the workforce management industry. For the past 15+ years he has been responsible for engineering teams developing time & attendance, staff scheduling, and payroll & HR solutions. Over the years, Jeffrey has been able to develop skills leading engineering teams, managing engineering organizations, and building world class software solutions. The time & attendance solution Jeffrey led the development on and now oversees has been #1 in KLAS since 2002.
James McDevittSenior Director, Human Resources
James McDevitt brings over 25 years of business experience, including over 15 years in HR leadership. James has experience building and growing organizations within the healthcare information technology, medical device and drug development industries, including GE Healthcare, Charles River Laboratories, and PAREXEL. James received his BA in Political Studies at the University of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. Along with his BA, he has a Post Graduate Diploma in Labor Studies and has also received his Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR) certification.
Mark SchwabeSenior Director, Finance
Mark joined API Healthcare in 2010 and oversees the financial operations for the organization. Mark holds a CPA and has previously held Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Financial Leadership roles at former organizations. Mark earned his Accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
