API Healthcare was recently awarded “Category Leader” for both the Time and Attendance and Nurse/Staff Scheduling Categories in the 2013 Best in KLAS: Software and Services report is published by KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting the performance of healthcare vendors.

Wow. Our whole team feels a strong sense of pride around this accomplishment. In fact, we take the KLAS ratings personally. It’s a third party measure of what is arguably our most important corporate imperative – making sure our clients are happy with the products and services we deliver to them. Over the last 30+ years, we’ve made client satisfaction a top priority. We’ve invested in tools, processes and strategies that help us empower our clients to better manage their workforce, and the KLAS recognition is one method of reinforcing that we’re making the right decisions.

Adding to our sense of pride is the fact that this isn’t a new accomplishment for us. API Healthcare has earned the top ranking for 12 consecutive years in the category of Time and Attendance, and has also earned the top ranking in the Nurse/Staff Scheduling category for the last two years for API Healthcare Staffing and Scheduling. This year, API Healthcare’s cloud solution, ShiftSelect, ranked second in the Nurse/Staff Scheduling category, giving us bragging rights for the top two solutions in that category.

But, the KLAS ratings are about much more than bragging rights and company pride. They are external evidence of our unwavering commitment to the success of our clients. As hospitals and health systems face an era of uncertainty and increased financial pressures, our clients are continuing to focus on workforce operations management as a strategy to decrease costs and improve the delivery of care.
